IRWA Mobile App Enhanced for 2013 Conference
In 2012, IRWA introduced a mobile app designed to enhance the
experience for participants at the Annual International Education
Conference. The conference’s first mobile app, developed by
geoAMPS, gave attendees easy access to the conference schedule
from their mobile smartphone or other mobile device. In a post-conference survey, more than 80 percent of the attendees liked
the idea of the mobile app and the 40 percent who downloaded it
rated it as a valuable tool and easy to use.
For the 2013 conference scheduled
for June 23-26 in Charleston, WV,
geoAMPS is adding a new scheduling
tool that enables users to identify
sessions, meetings and events, and
create their own customized schedule
of events with automated reminders
and easy-to-find locations. Another
new feature will be a built-in local
restaurant finder for those looking to
venture outside of the conference and
explore local eateries.

conference, visit www.irwaonline.org.
